The Dean of Faculty of Letters Universitas Warmadewa, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Kardana, M.Hum., in his speech expressed his highest appreciation to all graduates for their success in completing their studies at the English Literature Study Program in less than 4 years. The success obtained this time is certainly not as easy as turning the palm of the hand, but all graduates have struggled hard to attend lectures in the classroom, participating in various academic and non-academic activities outside the classroom, including the hard work of graduates in completing theses. The success of these graduates is also supported by various parties, especially parents/guardians who are always ready to support in terms of material and non-material aspects, lecturers who always patiently share their experiences and knowledge both inside and outside the classroom, including patiently guiding students in completing the thesis via online.
Therefore, the Dean also expressed his highest gratitude to parents/guardians and lecturers and employees for all forms of support for the success achieved by the current graduates.
The success this time is certainly something to be grateful for and enjoy, but that doesn't mean you have to be satisfied and stop fighting until here because the future is still long and full of challenges. For that, Prof. Kardana advised graduates to always learn and struggle to compete and live life in society. "I am confident and optimistic that you will be able to compete and win the global competition out there considering that you already have knowledge and knowledge about language and culture and have practical skills in English as an international language," said Prof. Kardana. In accordance with the institution's vision that every graduate must have high integrity, Prof. Kardana also advised graduates that it is not enough just to have high academic abilities, but also to have soft skills / good behavior and play a very important role in the success of graduates in social life. Understand and practice the teachings of "Tri Kaya Parisuda", learn to always think, say and behave well wherever you are because it is also the main capital for success later in the world of work. Hard skills must be followed by soft skills.
