The Faculty of Letters, Universitas Warmadewa (FS Unwar) marked another significant milestone by holding its 78th Graduation and Recognition Ceremony, at the Widya Sabha Utama Auditorium, Universitas Warmadewa. In this period, the Faculty officially graduated 24 new bachelors.

During the ceremony, the Faculty of Letters presented special awards to the best and fastest graduates. According to Decree of the Dean of the Faculty of Letters, Universitas Warmadewa Number: 436/UW-FS/PD-02/VIII/2025, the title of Best Graduate was awarded to Debbie Cynthia Hidayah (Student ID: 20214112059) with a Cumulative GPA of 3.84, while the title of Fastest Graduate went to I Dewa Agung Gede Bayu (Student ID: 20214112063), who successfully completed his studies in 3 years and 10 months.

The event also featured speeches from graduate and parent representatives, an alumni donation handover, and remarks by the Dean of the Faculty of Letters, Dr. Drs. I Wayan Ana, M.Hum. In his address, the Dean expressed his appreciation for the graduates’ achievements while emphasizing the importance of integrity, scholarship, and contribution to society.

“Although this period has only 24 graduates, their quality is exceptional. Graduates of the Faculty of Letters are not only academically competent but also socially aware and globally competitive,” said the Dean.

He further noted that this yudisium was even more special, as the Faculty had recently added a new professor to its academic strength. Moving forward, FS Unwar remains committed to enhancing educational quality, improving graduate competencies, and aligning the curriculum with Outcome-Based Education (OBE) to meet contemporary needs.

This year also recorded a positive trend with a significant increase in new student admissions. Compared to previous years, the number rose notably to 132 students, and even reached 137 students by early September. Moreover, the Warmadewa International Program (WIP) continued to expand, welcoming 99 international students, consisting of 83 WIP students and 16 academic program students.

“The growing number of new and international students is indeed a great challenge, but we see it as a blessing in disguise. Therefore, we are recruiting new lecturers, improving classroom facilities, and expanding academic infrastructure. We also hope that the Faculty of Letters will soon welcome another new professor,” he added.

The event concluded with a friendly gathering and performances, creating a warm and celebratory atmosphere. The 78th Graduation and Recognition Ceremony not only marked the end of an academic journey but also served as a new beginning for FS Unwar graduates as they embark on their professional and educational pursuits.
