Joint Seminar "Linguistics and Education"

English Literature Study Program, Faculty of Letters, Universitas Warmadewa and English Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto held a Joint Seminar "Linguistics and Education" on January 22, 2020 in the Sri Ksari Mandapa Meeting Room Unwar. 

The event was attended by the Deputy Dean of Faculty of Letters Universitas Warmadewa, the Head of Study Program and Secretary of the English Literature Study Program, the Head of the English Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, and the students of Faculty of Letters Universitas Warmadewa and English Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah Purwokerto.

The speakers at the seminar is Dr. Drs. I. I Made Subur, the Head of the English Literature Study Program, Faculty of Letters Universitas Warmadewa,.

On that occasion, an Momerandum of Understanding (MoU) was also signed between the English Literature Study Program, Faculty of Letters, Universitas Warmadewa and the English Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto.

Drs. Bambang Suroso, M.Hum, lecturers of the English Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto on that occasion explained about the profile of the University of Muhammadiyah, especially the English Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. He hopes that what he did today can be useful for students of Faculty of Letters, Universitas Warmadewa and the English Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto.

Dean of Faculty of Letters, Universitas Warmadewa represented by Vice Dean for Student Affairs Drs. I Ketut Sudrama, M.Hum, explained about Universitas Warmadewa, especially Faculty of Letters, Universitas Warmadewa. He said that the visit from the English Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto was a joy and pride for Faculty of Letters, Universitas Warmadewa. He also hopes that Faculty of Letters, Universitas Warmadewa in the coming year can make a return visit to Purwokerto. This activity is very good and it is hoped that there will be continuity in the years to come.
