The Student Executive Board (BEM) of Faculty of Letters, Universitas Warmadewa held the 2019 Student Organization Training (POK) with the theme "Forming the Spirit of Creative and Responsible Millennial Leaders in Organizations and the Environment" at the pavilion of Sakenan Temple Serangan on Monday, July 1, 2019.

The event was attended by the Dean and Vice Deans of Faculty of Letters Unwar, Head of the English Literature Study Program Unwar, as well as the committee and participants of POK.

In his report, the Chairperson of the POK Committee said that this POK activity was a mandatory activity held by Student Executive Board (BEM) of Faculty of Letters Unwar. This activity was attended by semester 2 students, totaling 21 students. The purpose of this POK activity is to find new generation in continuing the organization within the Faculty of Letters Unwar. In this training, participants are given education and training on leadership, cooperation, and organizational management so that later they can run the organization and be able to maintain the good name of FS Unwar. It is hoped that from this activity the material presented by the speakers can be understood by the participants and this event can run smoothly and successfully.

The Dean of Faculty of Letters Unwar, Prof. Dr. Nyoman Kardana, M.Hum., said that this POK activity is a routine activity every year that has been designed in such a way as to provide material about student organizations. This activity is very important and has many benefits, so that students can use it to improve their skills. Learning in the classroom is only limited to academic learning in improving academic competence in the form of knowledge. As for skills training and organizational management, students only get by participating in organizational training and playing an active role in organizations on campus. This is in accordance with Unwar's vision of "integrity". This integrity will be obtained by students by participating in organizational training outside the classroom.

This training aims to provide skills to students, so that after graduation students will not only rely on academic competence, but there are other important things besides academics that students have, namely integrity. Integrity includes behavior, morality, and loyalty, teamwork, and organizational management. This is what is only obtained outside the classroom by being actively involved in an organization. In student organizations, students will learn to carry out activities ranging from planning, preparation, and implementation. So that the involvement will train students' skills for organizational management. These skills can become more competencies for graduates to have a career in the world of work. It is hoped that this event will run smoothly and all activities in this event can provide benefits to improve organizational skills.

The event began with a prayer with the participants and the committee, after that it was continued with various activities, including Lectures by Vice Dean for Student Affairs of Faculty of Letters Unwar, Material Submission by the Head of the English Literature Study Program of Faculty of Letters Unwar represented by the Secretary of the English Literature Study Program, Q&A, Comets Chair Lecture, BEM Chair Lecture, DPM Chair Lecture, Games, Clean-up Action, and a night of intimacy.
