The Faculty of Letters of Universitas Warmadewa held the 75th Bachelor Yuditionum and Release at the Widya Sabha Uttama Auditorium Room of Unwar, Thursday (29/8/2024). The Dean of FS Unwar officially released 25 graduates, of which the highest GPA was achieved by Made Ayu Mia Bernadetha Ardana Waisnawa and the Fastest Graduate was Nyoman Ayu Wiryantini.
The Chairman of the Committee, Drs. I Ketut Subagia S.S., M.Hum., said that basically the judicium is an announcement of the predicate of graduation achieved by students which is calculated from all academic processes that must be taken by students during college. Of all the academic processes that must be passed, thesis examination is the last academic process. Although most of the students who graduated in this period experienced the obstacles of the Covid-19 outbreak which had changed the lecture system from offline to online or hybrid, all students had successfully graduated well, even the quality was not inferior to the graduates of the previous period.
Dean of FS Unwar Dr. Drs. I Wayan Ana, M.Hum., on the occasion said Yudisium is the most important agenda for students because it is a graduation inauguration ceremony after fulfilling graduation requirements and having studied for a certain period of time. It is worth being proud of this judicium that this time the fastest graduate with a study period of 3 years 10 months 16 days and the highest GPA of 3.89.
It was said that the 75th Judicium and Bachelor Release event was a collaboration of three events at once, namely the Judicium and Bachelor Release, thanksgiving for the achievement of the “Superior” accreditation of the Unwar FS Study Program, and thanksgiving because the Faculty of Letters managed to score a 3D hatrick (three Doctors) which was also just this morning (29/8) at Judicium at Udayana University.
“At this Yudisium for the first time the graduates in addition to getting a transcript also received a photocopy of the accreditation of the Study Program with the title ”Superior". And also I am sure that with the increase in doctors in FS Unwar, student achievements both academic and non-academic will increase and the quality of graduates will be better and able to compete in the job market, "he said.
He also said that with the achievement of this Bachelor's degree, in addition to pride, there are burdens and responsibilities that must be carried, namely competition in society and the work share is getting tighter. But he is sure, with the provisions that have been obtained by students, both in the lecture hall and from extra-curricular activities, FS Unwar graduates are able to navigate real life in a society full of challenges and competition.
