WIP (Warmadewa International Program)

Warmadewa International Program (WIP) is a short course program offering courses in business, culture and society, ASEAN economics, and language.

Warmadewa University’s Warmadewa International Program (WIP) is an international and interdisciplinary study program taught in English. The program offers courses in business, culture and society, ASEAN economics, and language. WIP is offered by Warmadewa University’s Faculty of Arts and Humanities (Fakultas Sastra) and is open to international and local students alike. The program features lecturers with diverse international backgrounds.


WIP consists of the following 14 courses:

  6. Environmental Management and Sustainability 5 ECTS (WIP51B06) - Bachelor
  7. Political Ideologies in Indonesia 5 ECTS (WIP21B07) - Bachelor
  8. Organizational Development and Human Resource Management 5 ECTS (WIP33B08) - Bachelor
  9. Economy & Business of ASEAN 5 ECTS (WIP33M01) - Master
  10. Strategic Management and Planning 5 ECTS (WIP33M02) - Master
  11. Entrepreneurship and Business Management 5 ECTS (WIP33M03) - Master
  12. Global Business, Marketing, and Brand Development Strategies 5 ECTS (WIP33M04) - Master
  13. International Innovation, Creativity and Leadership Strategies 5 ECTS (WIP33M05) - Master
  14. Service Marketing Planning and Management 5 ECTS (WIP33M06) - Master

The studies in the program are full-time. Credits for all courses are granted in ECTS points, including 145-171 study hours per course. Students may choose between 3-7 courses (16-36 ECTS) in total. Most of the courses are on an undergraduate (Bachelor) level, but Economy & Business of ASEAN, Strategic Management and Planning, and Entrepreneurship and Business Management are graduate (Master) level courses.

Warmadewa University has 7 faculties and 15 study programs and has been accredited by College National Accreditation Board under the Decree of BAN-PT No. 1033/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/PT/XII/2020. The Certificate of the Accreditation prevails for 5 (five) years commencing from the 8th of December 2020 to the 8th of December 2025. 

At Warmadewa University, the total scope of a Bachelor’s degree is a minimum of 144 Indonesian credits, and 160 credits maximum. One Indonesian credit requires 16 hours of work including mid-term and final exams. The length of the Bachelor’s program is four years and a total of 8 semesters. The minimum requirement per semester is 16 Indonesian credits. Each course is mostly worth local 2 credits. There are a few courses worth 3 or 4 credits. Local students generally accomplish 8-12 courses per semester.

Who can Participate?

Requirements for International Students:

  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • High School Diploma or a similar certificate
  • Sufficient English skills (B2 Level). No language test is required

Requirements for local students:

  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Successful completion of the first academic year of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree studies, as WIP courses are advanced courses.
  • Sufficient English skills (B2 Level). No language test is required
